In Pioneer Square, gyros give way to banh mi

The new eatery, pictured last week, but not yet open.

Main Street Gyros survived the pandemic and, before that, a nasty outbreak of norovirus in 2015. But the tiny little Pioneer Square restaurant, at 301 Second Ave. S. Extension, closed earlier this year. It's also been freshly painted, stripped of its awnings and cleaned of all its usual graffiti.
