Community of single-family homes to open at former Covington gravel pit

    National homebuilder Toll Brothers this summer is planning to open a 22-home cul-de-sac community in Covington. Called Toll Brothers at Maple Hills, the development will be located at 204th Place S.E. and is currently rising on an approximately 5-acre parcel in the southeast corner of a 214-acre site in the city's northern part. That site was formerly a gravel mine and asphalt batch plant.
