Bellevue site could see 60 units

BELLEVUE — Nothing much has happened with the Madden Construction property, at 2200 118th Ave. S.E. , for the past few decades. That may change, and a land sale could be coming for the narrow 3.5-acre strip just west of Interstate 405.

On behalf of the Madden family, Baylis Architects recently filed a 60-unit plan, apparently a mix of townhouses and apartments. It hasn't yet entered design review, and the property isn't publicly listed for sale. “Tuck-under” parking is mentioned, which is a relatively new approach to townhouses over a common garage.
