Apartments still planned for Belltown Self-Storage

Very few names are attached to the project, which will require a seismic retrofit for the century-old former garage.

It's been about eight years, with two architects and different owners attached, since the conversion plan for the landmarked Belltown Self-Storage building was hatched. For now, the midblock storage building at 1915 Third Ave. is still operating.
