Mithun has final design for 71 International District units

Fundraising is still underway; the goal is to break ground late next year.

The land sale came last fall for an affordable housing project in the International District, east of the freeway in Little Saigon. The seven-story, 71-unit proposal for 1001 S. Jackson St. is advancing under the Seattle Chinatown International District Preservation and Development Authority (SCIDpda), Friends of Little Saigon and Edge Developers. (The latter may also be the builder.) Planning began about four years ago.
