176 Tacoma units could be yours to build

Planning began under the prior ownership; Plus bought the site two years ago.

Plus Capital Partners, aka Plus Investment, has taken some significant land positions in downtown Seattle — most notably its 46-story condo tower site at 1516 Second Ave. That project did finally gain a master use permit, but is indefinitely on hold. There, the long-vacant and increasingly graffiti-covered Chromer Building hasn't yet been demolished. Nor has it been offered for sale. East across the alley, Plus previously attempted to sell the vacant former Aaron Brothers/Winter Garden building, at 1513 Third Ave., but found no buyers.
