Luly Yang showroom, boutique coming to Kirkland

A small downtown Kirkland commercial building sold four years ago to an entity known as LYDG 132 Central LLC. The roughly 80-year-old building, at 132 Central Way is now undergoing a gut renovation, and the ownership turns out to be an acronym for Luly Yang Design Group.

A new showroom and store called Monarch Boutique is the plan, which emerged not long before the $3.6 million sale. Baylis Architects is working with Goudy Construction on the project, where work began several months ago.
