LIHI to flip Tacoma motel to housing

TACOMA — The Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI) has purchased a former motel in Tacoma that it will flip to permanent supportive housing and enhanced shelter and medical respite beds.

The motel, at 6802 Tacoma Mall Blvd., was once a Clarion Inn and last operated as the Oasis Inn.
