As part of its ongoing mandate to create affordable housing on station-adjacent surplus land it owns, Sound Transit periodically issues requests for proposals to developers for such sites. Notable success stories following those RFPs, and the following construction, can be found at Roosevelt Station (done), Angle Lake Station (under construction) and Lynnwood City Center Station (claimed, and in well into planning).
