Belltown units could flip to hotel

SEATTLE — The Concept One apartments in Belltown, at 2219 Second Ave., were developed in 1995 — during a very different market cycle. The five-story building has 70 units, and is owned by a local investor group.

Last week came a plan to convert 30 of those units to furnished hotel rooms. Architect Clark Barnes filed the proposal for the current ownership, so a sale seems unlikely.
