In $135M Redmond deal, Kennedy Wilson buys all of Onyx

The owner seems to be weighing a partial redevelopment of the 1980s complex.

Back in 2008, Kennedy Wilson and the LeFrak Organization paid over $81 million for the Onyx garden apartments in Redmond. Those 400 units span about 24 acres at 4850 156th Ave. N.E. , just east of Interstate 405 and a cluster of Microsoft buildings alongside the freeway.
