84 Bellingham units get OK in Old Town redevelopment plan

Big changes are coming to the Old Town part of Bellingham, a now mostly industrial area on the north side of Whatcom Creek. Northwest Recycling anchored the area for a century, before the Parberry family sold that business and — separately — much of its land. (Some of that is also landfill.)
