Colman Building may have new owner

Leasing materials indicate a vacancy rate of around 40%. That's commensurate with other Class B offices along the waterfront and in Pioneer Square.

SEATTLE — The landmarked and substantially empty Colman Building, at 801 First Ave., went into receivership last year. Newmark has been the receiver, and Kidder Mathews the broker. Unico Properties had acquired the office and retail building in mid-2019, for a pre-pandemic price of nearly $37 million.
