SEATTLE — The vacant Brouwer's Cafe building, at 400 N. 35th St. in Fremont , sold last week for $3.5 million, according to King County records.
The seller was Matthew VandenBerghe Properties LLC, which acquired the industrial building in 2003 for $1.3 million, then invested heavily in a custom build-out for his gastropub. The business closed last summer, and went on the market that fall. Lauren Hendricks at Windermere represented VandenBerghe, and the building sold for the asking price.
