Rocket Taco plans Cap Hill move

SEATTLE — Vacant for over a year, there's a Capitol Hill restaurant space at 550 19th Ave. E. that was previously home to Bounty Kitchen and, before that, Tallulah's. The DJC first reported last summer on a possible new tenant, the Italian eatery Emilia, and a construction permit was then issued to revamp the space.

Dovetail is now working on that build-out, but for a different tenant: Rocket Taco, now based north across the street. The restaurant says it hopes to move next month, as the friendly staff told the DJC during a lunch visit on Sunday. Capitol Hill Blog Seattle first reported the news, which the restaurant owners then confirmed.
