Motel to become 27 Kenmore units

KENMORE — Converting a hotel to apartments is far easier than flipping an office building to such use. Case in point: the Kenmore Inn, at 8202 N.E. Bothell Way, which sold three years ago to local shop Garnett Investments.

Plans emerged last year to convert the four-story, 27-room building to apartments. The city of Kenmore is now considering the project for SEPA review. The public comment period ends March 21.
