48 U District units planned

SEATTLE — Back in 2016, with the University District then headed toward a major upzone, a local investor paid over $1.8 million for a small parking lot at 4244 11th Ave. N.E.

This week came a new apartment plan, filed by Studio 19 Architects. It calls for a seven-story building with about 48 units. Total project size would be about 23,400 square feet, with no parking and two possible commercial bays.
