Chief Seattle Club closes $29M deal

SEATTLE — As the DJC reported in February, Chief Seattle Club was then poised to acquire an empty new apartment building at 157 12th Ave. near Yesler Terrace.

Berkadia was selling the eight-story apartment project developed by Kamiak Real Estate. It was previously dubbed Sound, or Sound on 12th, with 92 units. The prospective new owner had by February renamed it Sweetgrass Flats.
