WinCo claims old Aurora Sam's Club

SEATTLE — Sam's Club, part of Walmart, closed its North Seattle big-box store in 2018. CBRE was the last known broker. Costco floated plans four years ago to claim the building at 13550 Aurora Ave. N., but didn't proceed.

Beginning last fall, WinCo Foods entered the permit process to lease the 144,776-square-foot-building. SEPA review is evidently required. The city recently deemed WinCo's permit application to be complete, and the public comment period ended today.
