A new MUP — and new hope? — for 394 units planned near Seattle U

Apartment plans go back a decade for a mostly vacant Squire Park site, a little east of Yesler Terrace. A master use permit followed in 2018 at 1203 E. Spruce St. , but nothing was built — and the MUP expired before the land assemblage sold in 2022. Before that foreclosure sale, local shop Hardy Development was to lead the effort.
