Commerce posts rent cap at 10%

OLYMPIA — The state Department of Commerce announced Friday that it has published the maximum annual rent increase percentage allowed on its website at the Landlord Resource Center. The rent cap for the rest of 2025 is 10%.

Gov. Bob Ferguson signed a bill into law in early May that sets limits on rent increases.
