Uptown hotel proposed next to the MarQueen

The First Avenue North corner was once home to Chase Bank — and Tower Books and Easy Street Records before that.

Last year, Stream Real Estate and architect Board & Vellum pitched a possible hotel plan north of Seattle Center on Mercer Street. The proposal didn't advance, and that old office property — facing Seattle Rep — remains on the market.
