Pickle or pucks? New industrial and sports plan at Overlake Christian

The church would still keep plenty of parking after a boundary line adjustment and land sale.

About two years ago, Kidder Mathews began offering the west parking lots at Overlake Christian Church to prospective developers — not the Redmond church buildings. Those are to remain on the east end of the long, skinny property. Last year, as the DJC first reported, an 800-unit apartment plan surfaced at 9900 Willows Road N.E., but it soon fizzled.
