Costco nabs nest of former Red Robin

ISSAQUAH — When the Red Robin at 1085 Lake Drive sold three years ago, the $13 million deal didn't make much sense. Buyer Selkirk Ridge LLC, associated with the Brian Runberg (of Runberg Architecture Group), never filed a development plan. Masthi Bar & Grill became the new tenant.

The Issaquah eatery is but a few steps from Costco HQ. So it comes as little surprise that Selkirk sold to Costco last week. King County recorded the $16 million deal on Thursday.
