With Bartell in flux, Commons at Ballard plans office conversion upstairs

Outside, the two office levels are clearly vacant.

In a very different era, with great success, the Commons at Ballard opened nine years ago at 5621 22nd Ave N.W., with 84 apartments, Bartell Drugs as the retail anchor and two levels of offices. For several years, the latter space was occupied by Gravity Payments, since departed.
