Bargain-basement price for ‘Big Pink,' Portland's largest office tower

Portland media reported yesterday that the tower, once valued at $440 million, has traded in a $45 million cash deal.

Prior to the sale this week, down in Portland, Unico Properties had a 15% minority stake in the 42-story U.S. Bancorp Tower, aka “Big Pink.” Clad in pink granite, with about 1.2 million square feet (including retail), it's Portland's largest office property.
