Former Touchdowns sports bar gets spiked, with new Renton High School to follow

South of the airport in Renton, the old Touchdowns sports bar had a pretty good run, lasting for decades at 423 Airport Way. It was a popular after-shift watering hole for workers at the nearby Boeing Renton plant. The Schumsky family finally sold the property for $1.8 million in 2019 to Hong Kong Seafood Restaurant Inc., which then filed extensive plans to renovate. The vacant building was fenced … and nothing much happened for the next few years.
