$31M for Burien deals from Berkadia

BURIEN — The Desie garden apartment complex, at 15405 Des Moines Memorial Drive S. in Burien, traded this week between related parties. The deal, an apparent recapitalization, was for about $46 million, as recorded by King County records.

The nominal seller was TLUS Rise Burien LP, a venture of Rise Properties Trust and partner Tokyu Land US Corp., which acquired the property in 2021 for basically the same amount. It was then known as Discovery Landing. The nominal buyer was HHP TLUS RT Group Desie I LLC, also associated with Rise.
