Alliance to build 311 Lakewood units, following $13M land sale

The L-shaped site wraps around the AMC multiplex and abuts the Target, to the north.

A large Lakewood apartment development site at 5731 Main St. S.W. sold last week for $13.7 million, according to Pierce County records. That's where the doomed, vacant former Barnes & Noble building sits on about 9.7 acres within the larger Lakewood Towne Center. Kite Realty continues to own the shopping center, and only sold the southeast chunk, which is mostly parking.
