SEATTLE — Once used as a homeless shelter and offices by Downtown Emergency Service Center, the 30-year-old structure at 606 12th Ave. S. is owned by the Seattle Indian Services Commission. That's a city-sponsored development authority, chartered in 1972.
The building (or buildings) on the corner of South Weller Street may be past the end of its useful life. Working with Urbal Architecture, the commission recently filed plans to redevelop.
