SEATTLE — A commercial complex at 902 N.W. Ballard Way sold three years ago, with a plan then pending to convert it to a ghost kitchen. That proposal didn't advance, and the two attached old buildings have remained vacant. (They were once home to FSI Marine Supplies, with its fish-shaped logo.)
Newmark has listed the property, with an asking price of nearly $4 million. The last trade, to a local investor, was for a bit over $3.8 million. The corner site is on Leary's gentle bend, a little north of the Fred Meyer. It offers a half acre, but also lies within the BINMIC — the Ballard Interbay Northend Manufacturing and Industrial Center — which restricts its use. (No apartments, in other words.)
