Kenmore triangle could see 66 units

KENMORE — An old house at 17615 83rd Ave. N.E. is eventually bound for demolition. That's a little north of Northeast Bothell Way, near Bothell Ski & Bike.

In its place, a five-story, 66-unit apartment building is planned. A local investor, working with Rene Architecture, first broached the plan two years ago. The city of Kenmore recently determined its permit application to be complete; the public comment period has closed. The city expects to issue a SEPA determination of non-significance for what it calls the Bend in the Road Apartments.
