ORA Architects filed an early proposal this week to put Cafe Nordo's Nebula cabaret/exhibition and dining operation into the north end of the Grand Central Block in Pioneer Square. That was part of the announcement earlier this month, when Urban Visions bought the vacant three attached buildings — all over a century old.
The tenant improvement plan goes by 202 First Ave. S., meaning the north Buttnick Building and skinny middle City Loan Building. The proposal spans about 18,000 square feet, and looks to include the basement (once home to the Comedy Underground) and first floor (once Swannie's sports bar).
