Former Woolworth could be yours

Some call it the Ross Dress for Less building. The three-story building, designed by Woolworth, falls into the 1930s Streamline Moderne offshoot of Art Deco.

SEATTLE — Some call it the Ross Dress for Less building. Those with longer memories will know the corner structure at 301 Pike St. as the former home to Woolworth, from circa 1940-1994. Ross opened there the following year. Woolworth had prior Seattle locations here before opening on the corner of Third Avenue.
