CAYA plans condos above new home

SEATTLE — Plans emerged last month, right before Christmas, for the Central Area Youth Association to redevelop its century-old building.

A new home for the nonprofit, plus 37 affordable condos above, is proposed at 119 23rd Ave. The project would replace the CAYA's longtime home, along with an old house it owns next door.
