New owner pays over $83M for Westlake Tower offices

The monorail predates Westlake Center by nearly three decades.

Westlake Center, with its monorail station, retail and office tower, is a condominium with two owners. Brookfield Properties owns the south retail complex, facing Pine Street and Westlake Park, from which Nordstrom Rack will depart next year.
