New property alert system launched

SEATTLE — The King County Recorder's Office has introduced a new reporting service to help property owners stay informed about their real estate assets.

The Recording Activity Notification System (RANS) is a free electronic service that alerts subscribers via email whenever a land records document — such as a deed or mortgage — is recorded under a watched name or parcel number.
