Near Avalon Station, 33 West Seattle units still planned

This view looks south across Alaska Street at the project.

In West Seattle, plans emerged three years ago for a new apartment building at 4700 36th Ave. S.W., to replace a small old medical office building. That's still standing, though a demolition permit is in process.
