Apartments set for First Hill corner

SEATTLE — A little east of the freeway, on the sloping corner at Cherry Street, 621 Ninth Ave. was put on the market last year, with Windermere's Stephen Tainter then asking $3 million for the property — a little less than its last trade in 2017.

A six-story apartment proposal had emerged earlier under an Eastside investor, then it toggled to condos, with Johnston Architect as the designer. The site is now mostly bare earth.
