Habitat plans affordable condos

SEATTLE — Using an LLC, Habitat for Humanity acquired a West Seattle development site last month for $830,000.

The seller at 5011 Delridge Way S.W. was the last in a series of lenders that had backed a prior 12-unit townhouse plan from BDR Holdings. Back in 2017, BDR paid about $1.2 million for the two-lot assemblage. It spans about 14,903 square feet. A pair of old houses was razed in more recent years.
