31 affordable condos nearing approval in Rainier Valley

The very TOD site is a few blocks south of Mount Baker Station.

Sound Transit and the city of Seattle have been collaborating on what they call the Rainier Valley Affordable Homeownership Initiative. The gist is that there are a dozen-odd surplus sites to develop with housing — some only permitting a townhouse or two, others allowing larger construction.
