Braseth now building Songbird, with 119 First Hill units

The project should take about two years to wrap.

The master use permit came two years ago for the eight-story, 119-unit Songbird apartments, from Kamiak Real Estate and Hybrid Architecture. A few old houses were recently removed from 119 12th Ave., on the corner of East Fir Street, and Braseth Construction is now at work there. Kulchin is doing the shoring and dewatering, while Santana manages the earthwork.
