As the DJC reported earlier this month, following the $34 million Bellevue land sale, Versant is the new moniker for a 351-unit apartment project to replace the old John L. Scott office building. High Street Residential, an arm of Trammell Crow Co., is the developer, working with PGIM. A subsequent press release added a few more tidbits. High Street's Alan Cantlin said, “Bellevue continues to stand out as one of the most dynamic and desirable places to live in the Pacific Northwest, and this neighborhood represents the best of what the city has to offer. But what truly sets Versant Bellevue apart is its proximity — across the street — to the East Main light rail station.”
