Bellwether plans apartment reno at Eagles Building

Designed by architect Henry Bittman, the seven-story building was landmarked in 1984.

Downtown's landmarked and century-old Eagles Building has also been variously known as the Eagles Auditorium, Kreielsheimer Place, the Union Arts Center (home to the recently merged Seattle Shakespeare Co. and ACT Theatre), the FOE Aerie No. 1, the Eagles Temple, the Eagles Hippodrome ... and, finally, the Eagles Apartments.
