Both are a century old. Both recently came to market. And both should in theory benefit not just from the looming World Cup but also the broader post-pandemic rebound in tourism. We speak, of course, about hotels. First the context, then the two offerings.
Since the DJC offices are a block east of the downtown waterfront, we've had a front-row seat for the entire rebuild — going all the way back to the Bertha rescue pit of 2015. Then the viaduct demolition. And the whole $4 billion-plus burrito, including the tunnel, demo, new Alaskan Way, park, aquarium expansion, Colman Dock, Elliott Bay Connections, etc., etc.
