Homewood Suites coming to SLU

SEATTLE — It's a hotel conversion at 800 Fairview Ave. N., but not the kind of conversion you may have in mind.

Rather, the Residence Inn — a Marriott brand — is to become a Homewood Suites, a Hilton brand. The proposed name flip for the extended-stay, plus minor renovations, came in a proposal last week from THA Design + Architecture, which is based in Virginia.
