LIHI to demolish vacant apartments

SEATTLE — The Low Income Housing Institute acquired Columbia Court from the YMCA back in 2004. The century-old, 15-unit complex at 712 26th Ave. has Anhalt-style curb appeal, but is now empty.

It occupies a half-acre parcel on the corner of East Columbia Street, with LR2 (M) zoning.
