Where has Kingdome Deli gone?

  • The old dome may be dust, but one “Kingdome” yet remains — just down the block.

    The Kingdome perished in May of 2000, replaced a few years later by what we now call Lumen Field. Less noted, following the dome's dramatic, dusty implosion, was the far slower loss of Kingdome-derived business names. Those, too, have been gradually fading from memory.
