Belltown SEDUs, developed before that term existed, could become boutique hotel

The inn hasn’t sold since it was developed three decades ago; a major renovation may lie ahead.

On the far north end of Belltown, mere steps from Seattle Center, the Vermont Inn was developed in 1994 by California firm Winslow & Wells. The six-story, 177-unit endeavor was one of four such local projects from the same developer, all intended to fill an affordable housing drought during the early 1990s.
