248 units set for Walmart property

EVERETT — Well south of Everett proper, and a little east of Paine Field, a Walmart at 11400 Evergreen Way (aka state Route 99) closed three years ago.

CBRE has since been trying to sell or lease the 143,364-square-foot big box, which was developed in 2006. Demolition instead seems the likely path.
